ActivTrak is known for behavioral analytics and productivity scoring built from aggregate data — useful context for some teams. Kyrospect takes a plainer approach: activity captured directly from each device, reviewed by the person it belongs to, on a workspace that also holds their HR record.
Short verdict
Choose Kyrospect if you want Tracking paired with an HRMS people layer on one login, employee-visible activity, and a vendor that's upfront about what's still in beta. Choose ActivTrak if you need its established feature depth — exports, integrations, years of hardening — today, and don't need the HR layer yet.
ActivTrak's current plans and rates are on their own site — we won't quote figures here that could be outdated. Kyrospect's beta pricing is public: Track Basic is free forever for every seat, Track Advanced is ₹50/seat/month with a 10-minute capture interval, and HRMS is ₹10/seat/month excluding payroll — the founder rate is protected for 12 months from paid activation.
What Kyrospect brings
Apps, windows, URLs and screenshots captured directly from the device — a record of what happened, not a statistically inferred productivity score.
Every team member can see their own tracked activity. Transparency at the individual level, not just an aggregate dashboard for managers.
The same login and workspace hold the employee record and the tracked activity — no separate analytics tool to reconcile against the HR system.
Owner and member roles ship by default. Custom roles let you scope access for contractors or team leads without an enterprise contract.
The workday layer: time, activity, screenshots and optional location context, policy-controlled from Track Basic (free forever) up to Advanced+.
The people layer: employee records and team directory on the same login as Tracking. Organization structure is rolling out; several modules are still planned.

ActivTrak's productivity scores are statistical inferences from aggregate behavior. Kyrospect doesn't produce a benchmark score at all today — what it gives you is the underlying activity itself: apps, windows, URLs and screenshots, captured directly and reviewable by the employee it belongs to. Captured data is stored encrypted, and access is scoped by role. The structural difference is that this activity record sits on the same identity as an HRMS people layer, not a standalone analytics dashboard.
Captured activity data is stored encrypted
Owner, member, or a custom role you define
Every team member can view their own tracked activity
Teams joining Kyrospect's private beta get direct access to the product team and pricing that reflects the early stage of the relationship — not a rate card we'll publish later.
